Science:

Heat Pack
(Chemistry) This presentation talks about chemically engineering the effect of an instant hot heat pack. How can we create a product that works like a heat pack while optimizing for factors in healthy safety, cost, and environmental impact? Find out by reading the analysis with plenty of images within it to keep it engaging.

Quantum Tech
(Physics) As transistors approach the size of atoms themselves quantum properties are making it impossible to control our current electronics at that size. Many scientists are trying to figure out a way to prevent, and mitigate this, however, there is another group of people who are trying to exploit it. That field is called quantum computing, and it is what this presentation talks about
Tech:

Optica Technica
In this project, I design and manufacture an optical device system. The system can quickly and easily be configured to form a telescope, microscope, or projector with the use of adaptable parts. A video walkthrough and a mock sales website can be found by clicking view summary or full product respectively.

Dream House
Humans are engineered selfish, so trying to make us care about an entire planet is hard. In this video I analyze how the film “A Plastic Ocean” masterfully manipulates its audience into caring, and not caring, but to care so much that they act to make change.

Security System
This project includes an Arduino and several related components such as lights, buzzers, motion sensors, distance sensors, a key pad and an LCD screen. The system all works together to create a fully functional home security system, with a functional UI and stages such as loitering warnings and intrusion detection.

Arduino
In our grade 10 tech design class, we focused on electronics programming. Since I already knew most of this, I made tutorials on several different Arduino projects, as well as an electronics/Arduino cheat sheet. 4 tutorials as well as the slides are linked below.

Mouse Bot
Our group was tasked with creating a “Mouse Bot” this mouse bot had to have two alternately blinking lights as well as being able to move. We were encouraged to make the movement interesting. Also the design should look visually appealing and neat. Find out more about how we did this below.
Math Adventure
This project takes what can sometimes be the boring subject of linear relations and makes it intresting by placing you in an RPG game type setting. The choices you make will end up either saving or killing your friend, so make sure to double check your math and logic, and get ready for an adenture!

Intrest Calc.
In this project I explore the exponential increase of compounding intrest by coding a custom Java Script calculator that would calculate and display compound intrest over a given time period. The project generates the worth of the money at several points then uses the Google Chart API to graph it.
Other:

This video summarises, analyses, and then compares the short story, The Lottery, to the real-world example of Dowry. It questions modern societies conforming nature and shows how the dystopian reality of the story not only could happen but currently does happen.
